Our Story

We met in the summer of 2016 in Hong Kong—two students from opposite coasts, brought together by a study abroad program at Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. Over those unforgettable weeks, we explored the city, shared late-night conversations, and built a connection rooted in shared interests: cats, food, and travel.

During the study abroad program, a spontaneous getaway to Bali became the start of something new. When that summer came to an end, we both had our doubts whether a long-distance relationship could work… yet nine years later, we can’t imagine not being in each other’s lives.

Since then, we’ve grown together through every season—supporting each other’s dreams, learning from one another, building a relationship grounded in trust, laughter, love, and raising three of the neediest kitties (Cece, Tubby, and BooBoo)!

Now, we’re returning to where it all began. Bali holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re so grateful to celebrate this full-circle moment with the people who have cheered us on from the very start. We would be honored to have you join us on this special day.
