We met in the summer of 2016 in Hong Kong—two students from opposite coasts, brought together by a study abroad program. Over those unforgettable weeks, we explored the city, shared late-night conversations, and built a connection rooted in shared values and interests: cats, food, and travel.

One spontaneous mini-trip from Hong Kong to Bali with close friends brought us even closer. What began as a fun getaway became something more—Bali quietly marked the start of a love and friendship that would stand the test of time.

When that summer came to an end, we weren’t sure a long-distance relationship could work… but nine years later, we can’t imagine life any other way.

Since then, we’ve grown together through every season—supporting each other’s dreams, learning from one another, and building a relationship grounded in trust, laughter, and love.

Now, we’re returning to where it all began. Bali holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re so grateful to celebrate this full-circle moment with the people who have cheered us on from the very start.
